The story of Fog Agroteknik
In the end of the 1970’s, two men tried to find a new way to move slurry from a pighouse to the reception pit.
In 1979 the result of the effort, the original STRAIGHT FLUSH system was introduced for the first time. Since then the STRAIGHT FLUSH system has been the most popular product from Fog Agroteknik.
In 1972 Fog Agroteknik was founded by Elof Fog, who created the STRAIGHT FLUSH system in cooperation with Asbjørn Pedersen.
Their expertise is still at great use by farmers and others.
Through the years there has been a running development of the STRAIGHT FLUSH system, this follows from the changes in the layout of the pighouse among other things. By the end of the 1980’s the basins and channels in the pighouse got bigger, which made the demand for bigger dimensions of the pvc pipes higher in Fog Agroteknik.
In the beginning of the 1980’s Fog Agroteknik started exporting the STRAIGHT FLUSH system. Today the majority of the sale takes place on the export markets.
Fog Agroteknik has build up a wide net of distributors and export to more than 35 countries.
Fog Agroteknik has its headquarters in Åbyhøj near Århus. Furthermore there is a stock and a production in Lintrup in Southern Jutland, not far from the farm where Fog Agroteknik developed the STRAIGHT FLUSH system.
In the beginning of the new millennium, the group of owners was increased with two new members- Asbjørn Pedersen, who took part in developing the STRAIGHT FLUSH system, and Peter Bredgaard, who has been an employee of Fog Agroteknik since 1985.
